Apostolic & Wesleyan doctrine
We hold in high esteem the faith handed down by the apostles and renewed through John Wesley: scriptural holiness, grace freely offered, and a faith that must be lived as well as believed.

A word of welcome
Superintendent Minister
Belgium Circuit — Belgium, France and Sweden. Pastoral oversight of all nine societies of the circuit.
I warmly welcome you to this page. We hold in high esteem the doctrine of the apostolic and Wesleyan faith. We are a vibrant and spirit-filled church embracing all and sundry. We have societies in Belgium (Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent, Leuven, Mechelen and Kortrijk), France (Paris and Strasbourg), and Sweden (Gothenburg).
You will receive the needed Christian warmth and expression of true love and koinonia — fellowship. We have exuberant and experiential worship services with sound Christian teachings. The Holy Spirit is present in all our activities.
You can access our weeklong online services and Sunday services outlined on this page. Contact persons and addresses of our various places of worship are displayed here.
John Wesley said: “Light yourself on fire with passion and people will come from miles to watch you burn.”

What you will find among us
Every society in this circuit is built on the same four commitments — whether you worship with twenty people in Kortrijk or with the full congregation in Antwerp.
We hold in high esteem the faith handed down by the apostles and renewed through John Wesley: scriptural holiness, grace freely offered, and a faith that must be lived as well as believed.
Drums, brass, singing bands and the old hymns carried in Twi, Fante and English. Worship here is not a performance to watch — it is something you enter into, and the Holy Spirit is present in all our activities.
You will receive the needed Christian warmth and the expression of true love. Class meetings, prayer chains, funerals and naming ceremonies: this circuit is a family that shows up for one another, far from home.
Preaching that takes the text seriously, Bible studies through the week, and catechism for those coming into full membership. We embrace all and sundry — and we teach them well.
Worship & services
The circuit keeps a weeklong rhythm of prayer and teaching. Our online services carry the whole circuit — Antwerp to Gothenburg — into one room, and each society gathers in person on the Lord’s Day.
Joining for the first time? Call the circuit office on +46 76 441 0094 and a steward will send you the current times and the online link for the society nearest you.
The principal act of worship in every society — liturgy, hymns, preaching and Holy Communion on appointed Sundays.
Children, young people and new members taught before or after the Divine Service, society by society.
Teaching through whole books of Scripture, shared across the circuit so that every society learns together.
Short daily prayer meetings that open and close the day — the backbone of our weeklong online services.
Susanna Wesley Fellowship, Men’s Fellowship, Guild, Singing Band and Youth Fellowship, each with its own gathering.
Circuit-wide gatherings through the year, hosted in turn by the societies in Belgium, France and Sweden.
